At Wellness Point, everyone will receive an exceptional quality of care. The center has expanded into a multifaceted clinic that offers obstetrics, pediatrics, general medicine, family planning, and dentistry. Some of the other services offered by our well qualified staff include education, intervention, and management of the many social issues that impact our community. Everyone is treated in complete confidence. Medicaid, Medicare, and most private health insurance is accepted.

Wellness Pointe’s Medical Director, Dr. John Kirk, provides dedicated leadership for the organization and the local community. His direction and insight have been instrumental in establishing Wellness Pointe as a primary source for your family’s health and well-being.

Wellness Pointe is under the direct authority of a Board of Directors that consists of eleven members of different ethnic backgrounds and professions. All contracted services are under the governance, administration, clinical management, and quality assurance of the board. Dr. John Kirk, F.A.C.O.G., serves as the Medical Director of the Center and provides leadership and management for all health center clinicians both full-time and contractual.

The Wellness Pointe administration is dedicated to maintaining the highest level of performance by pursuing an internal mission to serve and support all operations of the clinic. The organization has worked to develop a comprehensive system of care that includes maternal health, family planning, gynecology, pediatrics, general medicine, mental health, and dental healthcare services. Additionally, we offer abstinence, prevention, and intervention education and counseling, along with housing, healthy marriage education, 60+, and WIC programs. Wellness Pointe's administrative staff works in tandem with the medical staff to provide excellent service and to meet the needs of the patient, funding sources, and all other stakeholders. Wellness Pointe has developed programming dedicated to serving all people of the region regardless of race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status.
