Nurturing Families

Wellness Pointe has developed the Nurturing Program to address risk factors associated with child abuse and neglect.

The Family Support services are community-based services that assist and support parents in their role as caregivers in the Region IV area including counties: Gregg, Harrison, Smith, Upshur, Rusk, Wood, Panola, Anderson, Camp and Henderson.

Family support services promote parental competency and healthy child development by helping parents enhance their strengths and resolve problems that can lead to child maltreatment, development delays, and family disruption.

All families can benefit from information, guidance, and help in connecting with resources as they meet the challenges of parenthood and family life.
