Discover the Answers Together

The increasing pressure and appeal that influences your child to join the crowd can often result in dangerous and sometimes even illicit behavior. The best way to prevent your child from falling victim to negative influences or participating in harmful activities such as drug use, drinking, smoking, or anti-social behavior, is to talk with them. Peer pressure is strong, but not as strong as a supportive and praising parent or guardian that communicates well and encourages their child to set higher standards and achieve great goals.
Our behavioral counseling program educates you and your teen together on the dangers of making poor lifestyle choices, and alternatives that will promote a successful and enjoyable life. If your child struggles with substance abuse, we also can provide information on the dangers of usage, prevention methods, and how to break any habits that may have already been formed.
Youth and Family Services will Help Both You and Your Child Discover:
- The risks and problems associated with substance abuse and other damaging activities
- The best substance abuse prevention methods (through related presentations)
- Alternative activities available in the community
- How to eliminate usage and protect your child from future engagement
- How to effectively communicate you and your teens concerns, struggles, and needs
